The extremely robust Petromax Atago is an absolute all-rounder and can be used as a grill, oven, stove or fire bowl. Thanks to the infinitely variable air supply and temperature control, cooking and grilling in the open air is a new quality!

Ready for use with just one hand movement
Thanks to the unique folding mechanism, the Petromax Atago is ready for use with just one hand movement. And just as quickly it collapsed again. With a height of only 15 cm when folded, it can be stowed away in an excellent and space-saving manner.

Effective heating with the "chimney effect"
The highly refined construction of the Atago enables the chimney effect to be optimally used. With the infinitely adjustable air supply, the temperature can be regulated as desired, with maximum opening guaranteeing exceptionally quick heating. In addition, the round recesses in the material ensure optimal ventilation.

Unique two-cylinder construction
Due to the double-walled construction, the Petromax Atago is not only a special eye-catcher, but also stores the heat inside so effectively that the outer cylinder hardly heats up, even during prolonged operation.

Numerous possibilities
for firing are charcoal, charcoal briquettes and firewood. The Atago offers the following three modes of operation:

… as a grill
The Petromax Atago can be used in the classic way as a grill, fuelled by charcoal or briquettes. A suitable grill is included in the box.

... as an oven or stove
The Petromax Atago can also be used with the Dutch Oven or Wok. To do this, simply place the cast iron Dutch oven (e.g. the Petromax ft3, ft6 or ft9) on the glowing briquettes in the Petromax Atago. The Atago encloses the Dutch Oven and, in combination with the cast iron Dutch Oven, ensures optimum heat output. The wok, on the other hand, is placed directly on top of the round opening of the Petromax Atago.

... as a fire bowl
After the Petromax Atago has been used to prepare the meal, a cozy campfire can now be lit directly in the Atago for the evening. Thanks to the round shape, firewood and brushwood can be easily piled up in a pyramid shape.
