Care Conditioner for Cast & Wrought Iron

A high quality paste made from natural ingredients maintains the pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) of Petromax Dutch ovens and cast iron Dutch ovens and pans. It is also ideal for baking cast iron Dutch ovens that have not been pretreated.

Combines protection and care
This food-safe paste provides optimal care if it is applied with the Dutch oven after each cooking. In this way the pre-treated surface of the Petromax Dutch Oven is preserved. At the same time, the care paste protects the Dutch oven from rust and unwanted sticking of food.

Use as a stoving paste
The paste is also suitable for the first or repeated baking of Dutch Oven. Any rust spots can also be specifically removed by the baking process with the care paste.

Unique composition of ingredients
In contrast to commercially available edible oils, this paste does not become rancid thanks to a sophisticated combination of different natural oils and can even be kept for up to 7 years. This means that the Dutch oven can be cared for without hesitation, even before it is stored for a long time.

Forms an excellent patina
Regular use of the food-safe care paste creates a high-quality patina over time. This patina not only benefits the quality of the cast iron Dutch oven, it also optimizes its cooking and roasting properties.

Ingredients:
Made from pure natural products, food-safe, vegan, gluten-free, Paraffinum subliquidum Ph. Eur., Native oil components, triglyceride oils, base oil mixture with ionic liquid, colour and weight additives. Store in a dark, cool and closed place.
