The cast-iron potato roaster stands out with its clever mechanism: the specially designed tilting bolt locks both halves of the mould tightly together as soon as you lift them with a lid lifter (not included). So you can take your hot iron out of the fire or move it safely. If you hook your lid lifter into the lower end of the tilt bar, you can easily open the roaster lid and serve the steaming potatoes.

Edges good, all good
The rim on the lid gives you full temperature control. Because here you can put down embers or briquettes and precisely determine the top heat when cooking. The cast iron potato roaster always stands firmly on the ground, because the bridge running underneath creates a straight surface. This means that the roaster stands securely in the fireplace and can also be used in the oven at home without any problems. At the same time, the extended bar runs right under the hinges and thus ensures that it can be opened without tilting.
